Quantitative Analyst FX Options
Morgan Stanley is seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join its FX Options Desk Strategist team in Budapest. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with global FX Options trading, developing and implementing quantitative models, algorithms, and analytics tools.Team Profile
The FX Options Desk Strategist team is integral to the Sales & Trading Division, collaborating with traders and salespeople. The team's core responsibilities include developing, implementing, and supporting quantitative models for FX derivative pricing and risk sensitivity calculations used worldwide.What We Offer

Your Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and extend pricing models for FX derivatives using C++ and Scala.
- Develop a deep understanding of FX derivatives markets and option pricing models.
- Provide critical analyses to FX Options trading desks regarding models, pricing, risk, and P&L.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure the efficient operation of the pricing and risk framework.
- Liaise with control groups (Finance, Risk, Internal Audit) on model control matters.
- Produce ad hoc deliverables and reporting materials.

- MSc or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
- Strong mathematical foundations, particularly in probability theory and statistics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in programming and software design; C++ or Scala experience is a plus.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- A self-motivated and detail-oriented approach with high quality standards.
