About the Role
Morgan Stanley is seeking an experienced economist to join the European Economics Research team. In this role, you will cover the MENA region, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Israel, while possibly being based in Frankfurt or London.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and comment on economic data releases and policy events
- Build and maintain macro databases and econometric models
- Prepare presentations and interact with clients
- Undertake medium-term research projects
- Produce reports and model forecasts
- Communicate economic views to internal and external clients
What We’re Looking For
Applicants should have a degree in Economics or a related quantitative field, a strong macroeconomics background, and deep knowledge of at least one MENA country. Experience in policy institutions, robust econometrics skills, and excellent IT and presentation abilities are essential.
