This role will reside within the Firm Risk Management’s Market Risk Department (MRD), a team dedicated to providing governance and oversight of all market risk arising from the Firm’s business activities. This position is part of the global Market Risk Strategic Change team and is located in Budapest. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering value creation through strategic change initiatives. Projects include internal model enhancements, Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) development, Data and Risk Framework enhancements, and improvements to end-user tooling. Change programs involving technology deliverables will be executed using an Agile approach, so familiarity with this methodology is ideal.

In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyze and monitor risks, and lead key regulatory initiatives. What You’ll Do In The Role

• Manage MRD strategic change initiatives and BAU requests.
• Manage Senior stakeholder engagement, including escalating and resolving issues as necessary.
• Responsible for gathering requirements and managing the project onboarding process.
• Coordinate dependencies with Risk Managers, Product Owners, and Front Office for strategic change initiatives.
• Support Agile Fleet Leads in maintaining and prioritizing the Fleet-level backlog by ensuring alignment between Fleet-level objectives and Squad-level components.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of experience.
• Preferred background in project management / Agile development.
• Understanding of key market risk concepts (e.g., traded products, VaR, stress testing, risk/limit management).
• Experience scoping, developing, and prioritizing plans for strategic pieces of work.
• The ability to identify, monitor, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and agree upon appropriate responses.
• Desired excellent verbal and written communication skills.
