London Rates Trading Assistant

The Fixed Income Division, home to Interest Rate, Currency Products, Commodities, Credit Products and Distribution, offers innovative trading and risk management solutions across global markets.
Role Overview
This role supports the G10 Interest Rate EU Trading Desk based in Mumbai, working London hours. The candidate is responsible for trade capture, risk reviews, trade lifecycle management and supporting end of day P&L reviews. The role requires strong analytical skills, a background in mathematics and finance, and a comprehensive understanding of fixed income and interest rate products.
Main Responsibilities
- Perform trade capture and risk reviews including risk moves and trade amendments.
- Support end of day P&L reviews and booking accuracy.
- Assist in streamlining trading processes and automation initiatives.
- Provide analytical support and risk management across trade lifecycle.
- Collaborate with trading desk to improve trading platform functionality.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Educational background in Finance, Mathematics or Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in fixed income trading or related fields.
- Strong expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of fixed income products and interest rate derivatives.
- Familiarity with Python, statistical analysis and automation is a plus.
