Java Developer - Associate (Spring & Kafka)

We are seeking a Java Developer to deliver hands-on contributions and high quality engineering solutions within Morgan Stanley's Institutional Securities Technology and PWM Asia Tech teams. This role involves developing and maintaining software solutions, applying agile methodologies, and working with modern server-side technologies in a collaborative, global environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop robust software solutions using Java, Spring, and Kafka.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the globe.
  • Apply agile development principles and DevOps practices (CI/CD, CM).
  • Contribute to domain driven design and event/message based architectures.

What You’ll Bring

  • Hands-on Java development experience with open source server-side technologies.
  • Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design and event/message architectures.
  • Experience with Agile development, microservices, and cloud deployments.
  • Knowledge of UI frameworks (Angular, C#, Mobile, REST services) is a plus.
