Position Overview
Morgan Stanley is seeking a motivated Global Capital Markets Equity Capital Markets Analyst/Associate to join our Menlo Park office. In this role, you will work within the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) group to originate, structure and execute a variety of equity offerings including IPOs, follow-ons, private placements, and convertible offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing public and private equity placements.
- Perform detailed financial analysis and develop corporate finance solutions.
- Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with Equity Sales, Trading, and Investment Banking teams.
- Support the management of strategic, operational, credit, and market risks.
Qualifications & Requirements
Ideal candidates will have about 1 year of experience in Global Capital Markets or Investment Banking. Experience in Equity Capital Markets is preferred. The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. A Bachelor’s degree is required, and obtaining Series licensing is necessary if not already held.

Compensation Details
Expected base pay for Analysts ranges from $110,000 to $125,000 per year, while Associates can expect between $150,000 and $225,000 per year. The final offer will be individualized and may include additional compensation components.
