Our Foreign Exchange & Emerging Markets (“FXEM”) team is seeking to hire an Associate based in Budapest.
About the Role
As an FXEM Business Analytics Strategist, you will gain a deep understanding of the Fixed Income business, leveraging your technology and data skills to deliver crucial data insights and key business metrics. You will collaborate closely with Business Management and COOs to define and track strategy, collecting data from various organizational sectors to build attribution models and performance metrics. A key part of your role will involve developing tools to capture and distribute these metrics across the organization, directly supporting the Global FXEM Chief Operating Officer Team in identifying bottlenecks, scaling opportunities, and optimizing resource allocation for enhanced client efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with large and complex datasets in KDB and Python to derive impactful insights for business decision-making.
- Communicate with Sales, Traders, Technologists, Strategists, and Risk Managers across all divisions to find holistic solutions.
- Assist in driving business planning, formulating strategy, and executing key priorities.
- Create meaningful analyses to support strategic business decisions.
- Support the preparation of presentations for senior management on pipeline, performance metrics, and key initiatives.
- Assist in the development of web-based management reporting tools.
- Review capital and returns for various transactions.
- Cultivate a keen interest in the strategy and operations of the Fixed Income business, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities.
What You Have
- A degree in a quantitative or technology-focused area, such as Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Solid foundations in problem-solving and mathematics, coupled with a genuine interest in the financial industry.
- Proficient programming skills in Python or another relevant programming language.
- A strong interest in Data Analytics and Data Science.
- High resilience and adaptability to work at the forefront of business decision-making.
- Advanced communication skills, fluent in English.
