About the Role
Join Morgan Stanley's offshore Legal and Compliance Department in Mumbai as an Employee Trading and Investing Analyst. This role provides essential support services to our onshore teams, focusing on the firm's management of legal, regulatory, and franchise risk.
As an Associate level position within the Legal and Compliance division, you will be integral to supporting Employee Trading and Investing Activities across New York, London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. This team offers advice and guidance to employees on their investing and outside activities, upholding Morgan Stanley's commitment to excellence in financial services since 1935.
What You'll Do In The Role
- Ensure all account-related documentation is complete and accurate.
- Review employee personal account trades for compliance with regulations.
- Apply basic understanding of regulatory regimes across different jurisdictions.
- Utilize foundational knowledge of financial markets and products.
- Work comfortably with technology and contribute to enhancing system efficiency.
What You'll Bring To The Role
- Industry qualifications, such as a Graduate, Post Graduate, or MBA degree.
- 0-2 years of experience, preferably within the financial industry.
- Understanding of the implications of risk involved in trading and investing activities.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Coverage
- Monday to Friday from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM (IST).
- Participation in periodic evening calls with US and EMEA internal clients.
