The candidate will be based out of Mumbai and will be primarily working with the Asia Structured Notes Sales and Trading desk (China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan & Korea). The role suits a self-motivated, highly energetic individual who has a strong background in Financial Market, Analytics. The role offers great opportunity to the candidates to build on their knowledge of and exposure to Equity Derivative products, risks as well as valuation. The role also offers a unique opportunity of exposure into financial analysis across varied industries/sector combined with working on trading related activities for the desk.Responsibilities For This Role Would Involve
- Provide day‑to‑day support Structured Notes Sales across Asia region in pre‑trade, execution, and post‑trade activities, including preparing trade documentation drafts
- Coordinate drafting and review of term sheets, confirmations, and supporting documentation in partnership with Legal and Structuring
- Track deal status, documentation progress, and outstanding action items
- Assist with pricing requests, indicative levels, and trade bookings in coordination with Trading and Structuring teams
- Support execution workflows including trade recaps, amendments, unwinds, novations, and lifecycle events
- Ensure accurate capture of economic terms and timely resolution of trade discrepancies
- Trade Life Cycle Queries and Management along with Sales Booking Reconciliation
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and desk procedures
- Support sales in responding to audit, compliance, and risk-related queries
- Liaise closely with Middle Office and Operations to ensure smooth settlement and lifecycle management
- Escalate economically significant issues to Sales in a timely manner
- Partner with Technology and Projects teams on process improvements and automation initiatives
- Oversee primary deal workflows and Operational holdings
- Address and resolve ad‑hoc compliance‑related queries.
Skills Required (essential)
- Engineering Graduates with MBAs and/or CA (preferred but not must)
- 2-4 years’ work experience in Banking/Financial Services in Trading Support. Sales and Trading assistant preferred.
- Strong understanding of Structured Products (Notes/Certificates/Warrants) Trade Life Cycle is a must.
- Coursework/Strong understanding in Finance Market, (Structured Notes Knowledge Preferred)
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal. There will be regular communication with the sales and trading desk and the person needs to be able to understand the requirements and express their thoughts clearly.
- High level of attention to detail with strong documentation and risk control mindset
- Proactive, solution‑oriented, and problem -solving skills
- Ability to manage high trade volumes and be able to work under pressure
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced trading environment
