About the Role
Morgan Stanley is seeking a Data Lifecycle Management Analyst to join the Data Governance & AI Non-Financial Risk team. In this Associate level position, you will review new or changing applications, and ensure that record retention, disposition, and archiving requirements are met. You will work in Legal & Compliance to facilitate management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess data and records retention, archiving, and disposition requirements.
- Conduct reviews and analysis with business and technology teams.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to data management.
- Document data management requirements and support stakeholders.
- Coordinate and report on progress and process improvements.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in data management, data storage, and migrations.
- Business analysis or related experience in financial services.
- Excellent English communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of IT systems including databases, cloud, and emerging AI technologies.
- Understanding of personal data protection and privacy regulations is a plus.
