Role Overview: Data Engineering Lead Snowflake VP Data & Analytics Engineering

As part of the FRPPE-FinTech team under Data & Analytics Engineering, you will help transform how Morgan Stanley operates. This vice president role focuses on data analysis, developing data pipelines, data modeling, and applying machine learning and AI techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization.
  • Plan and implement large-scale data modernization projects.
  • Lead a group of developers across multiple time zones.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high quality data products.

What You Will Bring

  • 12-15 years of experience in distributed data development.
  • Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data transformations.
  • Hands-on experience with Spark, Snowflake and/or Databricks.
  • Proficient in relational databases and advanced SQL development.
  • Good programming skills and Unix shell scripting knowledge.
  • Familiarity with DevOps implementations in the data space.
