Position Summary
The Client Service Associate at Morgan Stanley provides exceptional service to clients and supports Financial Advisors (FAs), Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) and teams. This role is built on strong interpersonal skills and a client-first mindset, ensuring everyday client needs are met.
Duties and Responsibilities
Client Support:
- Support FAs/PWAs/teams in cultivating and enhancing client relationships.
- Execute money movement transactions as requested by clients or advisors.
- Answer general non-investment questions, relay stock positions and account balances.
- Enter profile information and pre-fill account documentation.
- Educate and enroll clients in digital tools such as MSOnline, eSign, and eAuthorization.
- Assist with marketing efforts including website maintenance.
- Participate in training, special projects and initiatives.
Administrative Support:
- Handle inbound/outbound calls to schedule follow-ups.
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings and handle travel arrangements.
- Prepare expense reports and support general in-office functions like copying, filing, and scanning.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
A High School Diploma/Equivalency is required, with a college degree preferred. Industry experience, advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, exceptional writing and interpersonal client service skills, and strong time management are key. The ability to adapt, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is essential. A willingness to obtain Series 7 (GS), Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) is also expected.
