Client Service Associate - Morgan Stanley

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Client Service Associate to provide exceptional service to clients and support Financial Advisors (FAs)/ Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs)/ teams. This role focuses on building trusted relationships through daily client interactions, requiring a client-first mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to assist clients with their everyday needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Client Support
  • Provide service coverage for FAs/PWAs/teams, supporting them in cultivating and enhancing client relationships.
  • Execute money movement transactions as requested by clients or FAs/PWAs.
  • Answer general, non-investment related questions concerning client accounts, including providing stock positions and account balances.
  • Enter profile information and pre-fill account documentation at the direction of clients or FAs/PWAs.
  • Educate and enroll clients in digital tools such as MSOnline, eSign, and eAuthorization.
  • Support FAs/PWAs/teams’ marketing strategies, including website maintenance.
  • Assist FAs/PWAs/teams in achieving their business plans and client service models.
  • Remain current on all firm policies, procedures, and new platforms.
  • Participate in firm initiatives, special projects, and other duties as directed by management.
Administrative Support
  • Handle inbound phone calls and make outbound calls, scheduling follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Manage calendars, coordinating meetings and events with logistical support like material preparation.
  • Maintain travel itineraries, prepare expense reports, and manage the reimbursement process.
  • Provide general in-office support, including copying, filing, and scanning documentation.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports for processing.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills

Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma/Equivalency required.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Industry experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to obtain Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) licenses.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and client service skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Adaptable and capable of multi-tasking.

Expected base pay rates for this role are between $34,320 and $90,000 per year. This is a base salary range, and total compensation may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other benefits.
