About the Business Analyst Director Business Analysis Role

Document business and functional requirements, business rules, and User Stories and Epics. Become a subject matter expert for Mutual Funds Middle Office Applications and support product owners, operations users, and development teams with data research, analysis tasks, and answering questions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with QA/Testing by reviewing and refining test plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve issues in day-to-day operations.
  • Manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans.
  • Build relationships with IT and business areas crucial to project success.
  • Lead requirements elicitation, process flow mapping, and propose new functionalities.
  • Conduct gap analysis, scope estimation and impact analysis with cross-functional teams.
  • Create and groom Product Backlog with detailed User Stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify integration touch points and manage dependencies and risks.
  • Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams in NYC, Alpharetta, Mumbai, and Bangalore.

Qualifications

6-8 years of experience within banking or finance environments as a Business Analyst with expertise in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation. Strong analytical skills and a proficient understanding of technology platforms and business processes. Experience in agile software development, Jira, and MS Office applications including Excel, Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
