About the Role
Morgan Stanley is seeking an AI Governance and Compliance Specialist to provide compliance coverage and guidance to the Firm's Business Units and Infrastructure Divisions across all regions and jurisdictions. This director level position within the NFR Artificial Intelligence Governance Group focuses on compliance coverage of information management and AIML governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement information and data compliance programs focusing on AI patterns and controls.
- Establish and implement governance frameworks for onboarding, testing, and monitoring of AI and Gen AI models.
- Develop risk-based frameworks for reviewing and signing off on Gen AI use cases.
- Coordinate review processes of AIML use cases with relevant control functions.
- Conduct periodic monitoring checks to ensure adherence to governance policies.
- Advise on governance processes, controls, policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with compliance testing groups and diverse stakeholders across Risk, Legal, Business, and Technology divisions.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong interest in data and information management regulatory requirements, including the European AI Act.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build interpersonal relationships and work collaboratively in a diverse team.
- Good execution, organizational skills, and experience managing risk and priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with minimum 5 years of professional experience in banking and/or enterprise technology compliance.
