Overview

Moonvalley is developing cutting-edge generative AI models for Superbowl-worthy commercials and cinematic experiences. As a Member of Technical Staff, Research Engineer, you will work with a world-class team of AI scientists and filmmakers to integrate advanced research into product development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with academic advisors to incorporate current research into products.
• Develop and iterate on computer vision and machine learning models.
• Conduct experiments and optimize model performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams on model definition, design, and deployment.
• Keep up-to-date with new advancements in AI and ML technologies.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven research experience in computer vision and familiarity with top conferences like CVPR and NeurIPS.
• Strong Python skills with 5+ years industry experience.
• Experience with CNN, RNN/LSTM/GRU, Transformer models, Pytorch, TensorFlow, and AWS.
• Knowledge in rapid prototyping, cloud deployment, and experiment tracking systems.
• Bonus: Open-source contributions in computer vision.

Additional Information

Moonvalley expects a high level of commitment; occasional late nights and weekends may be required. All business roles are hybrid by default with in-person meet-ups in London, UK or North America (LA, Toronto).
