About the Role
At Moonfare, we are on a mission to democratise access to top-tier private market investments. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in driving data informed decision making across the organisation. You’ll be part of a small, high impact team that sits at the intersection of data engineering, product, marketing, and commercial, enabling the business through actionable insights, scalable reporting, and high quality data models. You will shape how we understand performance, measure success, and identify new opportunities across the company. Your work will help ensure that decisions at Moonfare are always backed by clear, well structured, and meaningful data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced SQL-based data models to power business reporting and analysis.
- Build scalable dashboards and self-service tools using Looker & Tableau, enabling teams across Moonfare to facilitate decision-making using key metrics and insights.
- Perform exploratory and strategic analysis to support product launches, marketing campaigns, and commercial initiatives.
- Partner closely with product managers, marketing, and business stakeholders to understand goals and define relevant KPIs.
- Lead experimentation efforts including A/B test design, implementation, and interpretation.
- Advocate for data quality and consistency, ensuring models and reporting are accurate, well documented, and easily understood.
- Collaborate with the wider data and analytics team to improve data infrastructure and analytics tooling.
- Drive initiatives that increase data literacy and empower teams to use data more effectively.
The Ideal Candidate
- Has 5–7 years of experience as a Data, Product, or Marketing Analyst.
- Has a proven track record of transforming data infrastructure and metrics to support business growth.
- Possesses advanced SQL skills (BigQuery, PostgreSQL), along with strong Spreadsheet and Tableau proficiency; experience with dbt and Snowflake is a plus.
- Has hands-on experience working with commercial, product, or marketing datasets.
- Is comfortable designing and interpreting A/B tests and leading experimentation efforts.
- Collaborates effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.
- Communicates clearly, takes ownership, and is passionate about driving business impact through data.
