Role Summary

The AVP - Business Analysis in the Methodology Vision Team will shape the future of Moody’s methodologies analytics, content, and documentation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define vision and requirements, drive process improvements and implement methodology initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in business analysis with a focus on financial models
  • Strong analytical, quantitative skills and complex data analysis expertise
  • Experience in process improvement, requirements gathering, and documentation
  • Proficiency in tools like Vizio and/or Lucid charts is a plus
  • Experience leading self-directed teams and cross-functional meetings
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related quantitative field

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and critical business process requirements
  • Analyze model variations and identify commonalities
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align methodology goals
  • Lead the creation and management of documentation systems
  • Develop data requirements for robust analytical workflows
  • Implement and promote methodology library initiatives
  • Monitor process success with clear metrics and control design

About the Team

The Model and Methodology Development Group (MMDG) drives the development and publication of new and revised methodologies, models, scorecards, and analytical tools for Moody’s Ratings.
