A Day in the Life as a Strategic Sourcing Manager
The Strategic Sourcing Manager will develop and execute sourcing strategies to secure long-term equipment supply for the US Consulting Segment. This role involves negotiating optimal terms with suppliers, developing cost optimization initiatives, and working cross functionally with operations, business strategy, and resource management.
Equipment & Procurement Operations
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services with quality and cost control.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Guide the Equipment & Procurement Operations team to mitigate supply risks.
- Analyze data to balance long-term business needs with supply-demand forecasts.
Your Expertise And Skills
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics or related field, with 5+ years of experience in logistics, equipment management, procurement, or supply chain. Proven vendor management, contract negotiation, cost optimization skills and proficiency with supply chain systems and data analytics are essential.
