A Day in the Life
The Strategic Sourcing Manager develops and executes sourcing strategies to secure long-term supply continuity of equipment for the US Consulting Segment. This role involves negotiating optimal terms with suppliers, cost optimization with operational leaders, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, business strategy, and resource management.
Equipment & Procurement Operations
- Procure goods and services with cost and quality control.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
- Analyze data for capacity planning and risk management.
- Lead the Equipment & Procurement Operations team.
- Establish supplier performance metrics and standards.
Your Expertise and Skills
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field with 5+ years of experience in logistics, equipment management, procurement or supply chain. Proven vendor management, contract negotiation, cost optimization and proficiency with supply chain systems and data analytics are essential.
