Marketing Manager

Montage International is seeking a passionate Marketing Manager to lead integrated marketing, public relations, and communications efforts for their hotel. This role emphasizes media relations, experiential storytelling, and destination partnership engagement. The Marketing Manager will oversee the planning and execution of press itineraries, media visits, influencer stays, and brand partnerships, while also managing ongoing marketing channels, collateral, and digital platforms. This position is crucial for advancing brand visibility, reputation, and revenue-driving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Public Relations, Media & Communications: Lead the coordination and execution of media, influencer, and VIP itineraries, including customized programming and on-property experiences. Develop and execute surprise-and-delight moments to enhance guest and media experiences. Serve as the primary liaison with third-party public relations agencies, supporting media pitching, press stays, and performance tracking. Manage press correspondence and materials, and build strong relationships with destination partners to curate elevated itineraries.
  • Marketing Strategy & Campaign Execution: Formulate and execute rooms-related marketing initiatives, including national email campaigns, direct marketing efforts, and third-party partnerships. Support Food & Beverage, Spa, and wellness marketing initiatives through collateral development, content creation, and strategic collaboration. Provide direction for email campaigns and electronic communications, ensuring message development, approvals, and execution.
  • Brand, Design & Reputation Management: Assist in project management for the Graphic Design contractor/team, providing creative direction and approvals to ensure brand alignment. Ensure all marketing, PR, and communications materials meet brand standards and visual guidelines.

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent education required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and branding.
  • Experience with an ad agency or in a similar capacity within the hotel industry.
  • Computer proficiency and strong administrative abilities.
  • Must be on site in Big Sky, MT. This is an on-property role.

Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day, with walking and standing required for the remainder of the working day. Occasional lifting of up to 15 lbs is necessary. Essential abilities include grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity.
