Media Team Lead - Role Summary
The Media Team Lead is a senior strategic and operational leader responsible for growing media clients while guiding the development and delivery of media solutions with the support of direct reports. This role focuses on account strategies, client growth and relationships, team development, and the effective implementation of initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Role Responsibilities
- Client & Account Growth: Oversee large, complex client accounts, strategic planning, and growth initiatives while cultivating senior stakeholder relationships.
- Strategy Development & Promotion: Execute and lead APAC media strategy aligned with key accounts and internal initiatives.
- Team & Organisational Management: Build a cohesive and inclusive team, promote knowledge sharing, and mentor staff.
- Operational Excellence: Manage resourcing, project delivery, financial management, and process optimization.
- Financial & Business Oversight: Support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and operational efficiencies.
- Product & Industry Knowledge: Maintain expertise in media products, digital platforms, and industry trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster relationships across sales, strategy, and operations to optimize outcomes.
- Industry & Market Insights: Analyze market dynamics and share insights to inform strategic planning.
- Behavioral & Leadership Skills: Enhance decision-making, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence in team management.
Experience And Skills Required For Role
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, business, communications, or related fields.
- 8+ years in media, marketing, or advertising with proven client portfolio management.
- Expertise in developing and executing integrated media strategies.
- Strong ability to build and manage C-level stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in resource planning, project delivery, and financial analysis.
- Deep understanding of media landscapes, digital innovation, and industry trends.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and lead high-performance teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic stakeholder skills.
