Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for passionate technologists to join our MongoDB team as a Solutions Architect. In this role, you will guide customers in designing and building reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB's data platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide customers in designing scalable and reliable systems.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Relationship Account Managers.
- Conduct technical discovery, demos, presentations, and document technical decisions.
- Implement technology toolkits for demonstrations and POCs.
- Advise on architecture, patterns, and best practices for MongoDB deployments.
Candidate Qualifications
- 5+ years in software development, pre-sales, or consulting.
- 2+ years pre-sales experience with enterprise software.
- Experience coding in languages like Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Familiarity with scalable, distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling databases and working with major cloud providers.
- Knowledge of database programming and data models.
- MongoDB Certification is a plus.

- Deep knowledge of MongoDB product suite including Atlas, Atlas Data Lake, and Atlas Full-Text Search.
- Modern architecture design patterns, microservices, and DevOps practices.
- Sales techniques, demonstration skills, and objection handling.
- Exposure to diverse market verticals and complex use cases.
