Role Overview: Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the company’s data infrastructure. Your work will ensure reliable, scalable, and well-structured data flows that power analytics, reporting, and critical decision-making across Moneybase.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build automated data pipelines from multiple business systems.
• Develop and maintain the data warehouse architecture.
• Clean, transform, and structure raw data into analytics-ready datasets.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Optimize data performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with BI analysts to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Implement monitoring and quality checks for data pipelines.
• Document data models and workflows.
• Support data governance and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• 9+ Years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong SQL expertise.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools.
• Proficiency with data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or equivalent).
• Scripting proficiency (Python preferred).
• Solid understanding of data modeling fundamentals.
• Experience with version control workflows.
• Skills in performance optimization.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud data environments.
• API integrations.
• Workflow orchestration tools.
• Exposure to BI platforms.
