About the role
About The Role
We are seeking a Product Marketing Team Lead with deep marketing experience and a passion for building and scaling products. You will lead the product marketing for one of monday’s core products, managing a team of top product marketers to achieve company objectives and make a meaningful impact on a major industry.
As Product Marketing Team Lead, you will own the product’s Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and strategic launches, shape the overarching product story, influence the product roadmap, and play a key role in domain-level decision-making to drive sustainable product growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product marketing domain strategy, goals, roadmap, and priorities; build clear annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with company and domain objectives.
- Define the GTM strategy, buyer segmentation, and key differentiators; incorporate customer insights, market trends, competitive signals, and data into marketing decision-making, acting as the voice of the field for customer and market needs.
- Develop the domain’s product narrative, positioning, and value drivers, ensuring a sharp, compelling, and differentiated story and customer promise.
- Lead the product launch strategy and execution, ensuring cohesive messaging, high-quality PMM deliverables, and strong GTM alignment across channels and teams.
- Deeply understand customer and field needs to influence domain decisions and the product roadmap.
- Develop PMM talent globally through coaching, mentoring, and performance management; ensure clear prioritization and effective resource allocation across PMM initiatives.
- Develop frameworks, methodologies, and playbooks for the team; own internal knowledge sharing and co-lead the PMM Guild strategy, shaping cross-domain standards and best practices.
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders – Sales, Product, and Marketing leaders – ensuring tight alignment, focus, and effective execution across the domain.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing and mentoring product marketers for 5+ years.
- Extensive experience owning end-to-end product marketing for complex products, from strategy through execution.
- Experience with SLG (State and Local Government) models at scale, working closely with sales and GTM teams.
- Proven ability to act as the strategic voice of the domain at the executive level, influencing decisions across product, GTM, and marketing.
- Deep expertise in defining Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and segmentation for a product or domain, and using that focus to guide priorities and GTM.
- Proven ability to develop a product narrative that is sharp, differentiated, and compelling, tying product capabilities to tangible impact.
- Strong relationship-building skills with Sales and GTM leaders.
- Ability to foster data-driven decision-making, leveraging insights and business opportunities.
- Experience in ensuring high-quality PMM outputs, including sales collateral, messaging docs, demos, talk tracks, and PMM briefs.
- Strong leadership presence, able to drive consistency, professional standards, and ways of working across the Product Marketing craft.
