About the Role

The Contracts Administrator at Contracts Administrator will support activities related to construction and subcontractor contract management at Zenviron, a joint venture between Monadelphous and ZEM Energy. Reporting to the Procurement and Contracts Manager, you will be involved in tendering, negotiating, awarding, and managing subcontracts and major purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support commercial and contractual aspects of tendering and contract management.
  • Advise project teams on compliance with head contracts and agreements.
  • Compile and prepare site progress claims ensuring timely payments.
  • Coordinate contract variations, extension of time, and latent conditions claims.
  • Manage subcontractor progress claims, variations, and extension of time claims.
  • Highlight commercial or contractual risks and propose solutions.
  • Analyse project cost reports and cash flow forecasts.

Candidate Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
  • Experience in construction/resource industry and contract administration (2+ years).
  • Understanding of contract law and Security of Payments legislation.
  • Experience with variation to contract and extension of time claims.
  • Knowledge of document and cost management systems (e.g. Procore, PayApps) is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and team orientation.
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.
