Momentum is seeking a confident and eager Associate Creative Technologist to join our team. This agile & tech-focused individual will thrive on a variety of fun & exciting projects, growing with a great team while handling diverse client experiences. A passion for using technology to create unforgettable experiences is essential. Momentum's Creative Technologists are central to the conception, creation, testing, and activation of the agency's work. You will frame problems, identify opportunities, participate in brainstorming and work sessions, inspire invention, and present thoughtful ideas alongside talented professionals for respected global brands, building spectacular solutions.
The Associate Creative Technologist combines a desire to figure things out with a love of working with talented teams. Our team is central to all technology-driven initiatives, from concepting, rapid prototyping, and client/partner collaboration, to boots-on-the-ground testing and support during exciting global events. Momentum is dedicated to innovation, and joining the Creative Technology team means working with cutting-edge technologies like mixed reality, artificial intelligence, game frameworks, and app & web development.

Responsibilities
- Possess strong technical and soft skills for effective communication, inspiration, and teamwork.
- Dedicate to learning current industry trends and emerging technology.
- Approach challenges with both vision and pragmatism.
- Believe in partnership, especially with tech/integrated producers.
- Think on their feet, collaborate, and drive projects forward.
- Help define appropriate technology stacks, understanding the right tools for each job.
- Be comfortable with hands-on coding.
- Provide rapid tech outlooks, solutions, and recommendations.
- Contribute deep technology-focused research, practical applications, solutions, and oversee internal/external development teams, collaborating with agency and client partners.
- Master clear and confident communication for non-technologists, guiding the team efficiently.
- Prove or disprove concepts effectively.
- Manage QA once concepts are locked and experience functions are solidified.
- Apply hands-on testing plans throughout production, from development to deployment and live events.
- Create technical documentation including data flows, user journeys, technical requirements, and testing plans.
- Communicate and articulate ideas to excite internal teams and clients.
- Travel is included for setting up and supporting work in the field, bringing concepts to life.
- Support Momentum’s values and perform all other assigned duties.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years in related fields (agency experience a plus).
- Web development experience (HTML & CSS, etc. are a plus).
- Basic understanding of computer networking.
- Hardware familiarity regarding computer components and peripherals.
Desired Skills
- Lens Studio, Spark AR, 8th Wall, and AR work experience.
- QA workflows.
- IT background.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine.
