Summary
As a Summer 2026 IT Communication and Translation Intern at Momentive, you will bridge communication between Korean and English-speaking teams while supporting strategic Digital Excellence initiatives. You will gain hands-on IT systems experience, contribute to global projects, and collaborate with various levels of IT and Business leadership in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in IT project and system meetings providing real-time translation.
- Review and translate emails and electronic communications globally.
- Lead and follow up on IT-specific tasks combining project and language skills.
- Undertake specific IT technical tasks as required by project needs.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Business, Data Science, Communications, or a related field.
- Fluent in Korean and English with strong bilingual communication skills.
- Ability to write business emails, organize meeting calendars, and follow-up on action items.
- Professional and positive demeanor when interacting with executives and staff.
- High attention to detail and sensitivity of handling information.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Understanding of IT programming languages, IT systems, and familiarity with hardware/software installation (SAP).
Program Details
The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program during and following the internship, expected to work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks between May and August.
