Program Director at Molina Healthcare

As a Program Director at Molina Healthcare, you will provide enterprise leadership for vendor-led healthcare initiatives. This role is crucial for structuring, governing, and positioning programs to deliver measurable value. You will be the central point of accountability, aligning Health Plans, corporate partners, and vendors to achieve shared objectives, facilitate decision-making, and ensure successful outcomes.

Your focus will be on creating clarity and consistency across various programs, allowing for effective understanding, assessment, and translation of activities into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead vendor-driven healthcare programs from initial planning through execution and outcome reporting.
  • Establish clear program governance, cadence, and executive-level reporting mechanisms.
  • Partner closely with Health Plans to drive engagement, adoption, and consistent execution across initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to identify and track utilization data for outcome and ROI reporting.
  • Manage vendor scope, performance, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with contractual and program expectations.
  • Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), risks, and dependencies across the program portfolio.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and recommendations effectively to senior and executive leadership.
  • Ensure all activities align with enterprise standards, including PMO and IT governance.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong program and vendor management experience within healthcare environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence Health Plans and various cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
  • Robust data acumen, including proficiency in evaluating utilization and outcome data to generate meaningful insights for decision-making.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and thrive in ambiguous environments.

Job Qualifications

Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Education & Experience
  • Graduate Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10+ years of program or portfolio management experience in healthcare.
  • 3-5+ years of vendor management experience in healthcare.
Preferred License, Certification, Association
  • CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality)
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
