Data Analyst at Molina Healthcare
As a Data Analyst at Molina Healthcare, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing processes and solutions for a wide variety of data sets. These data sets are crucial for data/text mining, analysis, modeling, and predicting, all of which enable informed business decisions across the organization. You will gain deep insights into key business problems and deliverables by applying advanced statistical analysis techniques to examine both structured and unstructured data sourced from multiple disparate systems.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely across various departments and with external customers to define requirements and thoroughly understand complex business problems. Leveraging advanced mathematical, statistical, querying, and reporting methods, you will develop innovative solutions. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve developing information tools, algorithms, dashboards, and queries designed to monitor and continuously improve business performance.
You will manage solutions from their initial conceptualization through to fully tested production, ensuring high quality and reliability. Communicating your results effectively to a broad range of audiences, including non-technical stakeholders, is essential. The ideal candidate will be adept at utilizing current and emerging technologies to drive analytical excellence.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Extracts and compiles various sources of information and large data sets from diverse systems to identify and analyze outliers.
- Sets up processes for monitoring, tracking, and trending department data effectively.
- Prepares any state-mandated reports and comprehensive analysis as required.
- Works collaboratively with internal, external, and enterprise clients to research, develop, and document new standard reports or processes.
- Implements and utilizes analytics software and systems to support the department's strategic goals.
Job Qualifications
Required Education
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
