About the Role

Moelis & Company is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Analyst M&A in New York. In this role, you will support the Mergers & Acquisitions financial advisory practice by conducting financial analysis, building valuation models, executing transactions and preparing client presentations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support senior managers in origination activities and financial analysis.
  • Prepare historical and projected financial statements and conduct valuation analyses.
  • Develop valuation models using comparable company, DCF, and comparable acquisitions analyses.
  • Prepare analytical materials for credit, compliance, and board approvals.
  • Conduct market, corporate operations, and risk/return reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple projects.
  • Effective team player with strong communication skills.

Education

An undergraduate degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or mathematics is preferred.

Salary Range

Estimated Salary Range: $110,000-$135,000
