Senior Specialist, Trade Operations & Compliance

The Role

As a Senior Specialist, Trade Operations & Compliance, you will work alongside exceptional colleagues and strategic partners worldwide, playing a crucial role in global health initiatives.

Moderna is solidifying its footprint in Madrid, focusing on delivering groundbreaking products to the Spanish market. In this role, you will collaborate with Global Trade Compliance to ensure adherence to legal requirements for international trade operations and optimize import/export declarations under strict regulatory requirements.

You will support daily compliance operations, manage cross-functional projects, develop standard operating procedures, and interface with systems such as SAP GTS and SAP Fiori. Your work will contribute to both digital and AI-enhanced initiatives for trade compliance data automation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Trade Compliance team focusing on Spain.
• Manage import/export compliance, including HTS classification and ECN frameworks.
• Develop and update legal policies, guidelines, and procedural documentation.
• Interface with SAP GTS and Fiori to input and track compliance data.
• Conduct internal audits and prepare compliance reports for management.
