Overview

Mobius, an award winning SBA certified HUBZone and WOSB company, is seeking an MDS Targets Product Engineer. In this role, you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Targets and Countermeasures Long Range Program Office (DTL) by developing next generation reentry vehicles, rocket motors, and support equipment to create realistic test environments for the nation’s missile defense systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the DTL Engineering team in design, analysis, and test.
  • Develop requirements, production, qualification, integration, and flight test processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineering analyses and deliver recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Manage multiple projects ensuring timely delivery of all milestones.
  • Advise on product and component failure investigations and review boards.
  • Represent customer interests in Working Groups and Technical Interchange Meetings.

Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years of experience working on missile defense or other complex DoD programs, strong oral and written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (preferably Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering). Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.
