About the Role

Join Mizuho as an IT Business Analyst - Compliance. In this role, you will bridge business needs and IT solutions within the compliance field. You will analyze requirements, design technology solutions, and ensure effective implementation and maintenance of compliance systems.

Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis: Translate complex regulatory requirements into technical specifications for case management, regulatory reporting, and surveillance systems.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams using tools like JIRA and Confluence to manage compliance projects.
  • System Enhancement: Support development and improvement of compliance systems and processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all solutions meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on technology initiatives and outcomes to senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT compliance, business analysis, or related roles in financial services.
  • Technical proficiency in SQL, Oracle, Snowflake, Power BI, and reporting design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of AML, sanctions screening, regulatory reporting standards, and other compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Salary & Benefits

Base salary ranges from $111K to $165K, with additional discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
