Role Summary
The District Sales Manager will join our Northeast Regional Sales team to act as a business consultant for 11 dealerships located in the New York Metro, Massachusetts, and Connecticut area. In this role, you will assist dealers in profitably selling Mitsubishi vehicles and accessories and ensure an excellent customer buying experience.
Responsibilities
- Attain district wholesale and retail sales objectives.
- Coordinate sales activities with dealer principals and department managers.
- Develop and maintain long-term professional relationships with dealers.
- Monitor compliance with policies, sales, marketing, and advertising programs.
- Advise Region management on non-compliance and recommend solutions.
- Analyze dealership sales, market penetration, and inventory levels.
- Recommend marketing and promotional strategies to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Educate dealers on new marketing tools and social media benefits.
- Coordinate dealer training using Mitsubishi’s Academy, MiShowroom, and MiDelivery.
- Assist dealers with incentive payments, RDA, and Co-op Fund claims.
- Plan and implement district sales strategies collaboratively.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of professional automotive retail/wholesale experience. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Must hold a valid unconditional driver’s license with an approved driving record, and be willing to travel extensively.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary ranges between $90,000 to $100,000, based on experience. Benefits include a comprehensive healthcare package, 401(k) with company match, Mitsubishi Lease Program, assigned vehicle (contingent upon driving record), professional development opportunities, and up to 30 days paid time off.
