Job Overview
As a Software Engineer III in Test, you will ensure the quality and reliability of Mitratech’s products by designing, executing, and automating tests that validate functionality, performance, and usability. You will collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams while contributing to test automation, CI/CD integration, and AI-based testing tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers and product managers to define test strategies.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for various testing types.
- Conduct manual, exploratory, and regression testing for new features and bug fixes.
- Review and improve test scripts and participate in peer reviews.
- Investigate, document, and work on reported defects with teams.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Enhance test frameworks and processes across product areas.
- Explore and apply AI-augmented testing tools for increased efficiency.
- Participate in release and hotfix stability testing.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in manual and automation software testing.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks using C# (preferred) or Java.
- Understanding of NUnit or equivalent test frameworks.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail or similar test management tools.
- Proficiency in Git or similar source control tools.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging and communication skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Exposure to AI-based testing tools/frameworks.
- Working knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, RestSharp or SoapUI.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
