Your Role as a Senior DevOps Engineer - Azure

You will facilitate creation, adoption, and use of tools and processes that empower development teams. Emphasizing simplicity, scalability, reliability, and resiliency, you'll partner with engineering and product teams to enhance cloud utilization, CI/CD processes, and security compliance.

A Day in the Life

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and resilient Azure infrastructure solutions.
  • Create and review architecture/infrastructure proposals and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM templates, and Terraform.
  • Automate builds, testing, deployments, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Monitor production systems with robust reporting and alerting.
  • Mentor junior DevOps and Software/Test Engineers.
  • Work with Microsoft customer success managers to optimize Azure usage.

Key Technical Skills

  • 7+ years in DevOps, cloud architecture, and infrastructure management.
  • Expertise with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Azure services.
  • Hands-on experience with IaC using Bicep, ARM, and Terraform.
  • Containerization with Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Container Apps/AKS.
  • Proficient in scripting (PowerShell) and configuration management (Ansible).
  • Exposure to monitoring tools like Application Insights and DataDog.
  • Experience with source code management tools such as GitHub and Bitbucket.
