Overview

The AI Strategist Lead will be the end‑to‑end owner for our most impactful customer engagements at MissionHires. Working alongside a senior technical lead, you will guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers to scope, deliver, and scale AI‑native workflows that materially improve customer operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex client engagements from discovery to scale-up.
  • Facilitate executive workshops and shape AI strategy.
  • Partner with engineering to manage scope and de-risk delivery.
  • Drive change-management, training, and workflow design.
  • Define success metrics and conduct regular business reviews.
  • Communicate complex ideas to C-suite executives and operators.
  • Mentor team members and standardize repeatable approaches.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in consulting, product, strategy, or program leadership roles with client-facing experience.
  • Fluency in generative-AI concepts including LLMs, RAG, agents, and prompt engineering.
  • Proven experience managing executive-level stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical and product mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Builder mentality focused on outcomes.
  • Nice to have: domain experience in retail, hospitality, logistics, healthcare/pharma, or financial services; familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance.
