In parallel, the company provides its technology to external partners via a B2B, white-label travel and fintech platform.
Overview
This organization is looking for Backend Integration Engineers to support the development and scaling of hotel supply integrations. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining API based integrations between hotel partners and standardized internal platforms. The team is globally distributed.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend integrations for hotel supply partners
- Define APIs and wire up integrations with external hotel systems
- Integrate partner-specific solutions into standardized internal platforms
- Collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team across time zones
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of integration services
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience
- Strong experience with Scala (or comparable JVM based backend systems)
- Proven background in API design and system integrations
- Experience working on distributed, cross-regional engineering teams
- Familiarity with hotel, travel, or marketplace integrations is a strong plus
Location
Open to candidates across the US, Canada, Latin America, Central America, Europe, and Africa. 6-8 hours timezone alignment with Eastern, Central or European time zones.
