The Role

As a senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you will build the foundation of an AI-driven digital banking platform. Your responsibilities include deep technical ownership and product craftsmanship across a full product stack. You will design and implement features linking modern frontend interfaces with secure, scalable serverless backends, and support real-time, data-driven financial interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and ship production-grade mobile and web interfaces using React Native with Expo.
• Own core fintech product modules such as digital wallets, payments, and transaction ledgers.
• Design and maintain scalable APIs and data pipelines in a serverless AWS environment.
• Integrate digital asset and stable-value payment flows ensuring compliance and security.
• Build real-time, event-driven user experiences using WebSockets and server-streaming connections.
• Enhance app performance using profiling and monitoring tools including Sentry and Better Stack.
• Collaborate with design teams to translate Figma prototypes into consistent UI implementations.
• Apply AI-supported development workflows with tools like Cursor and Claude.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor peers on best practices for secure, performant, AI-integrated development.

Tech Environment

The platform is built within a comprehensive TypeScript-based ecosystem:

• Frontend: React Native with Expo, Zustand, TanStack Query, GraphQL and REST APIs, WebSockets.
• Backend: Serverless AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Cognito, Kinesis).
• Tooling & Monitoring: Automated deployment, testing, Sentry, Better Stack, Amplitude.
• AI Integration: Usage of AI tools like Cursor and Claude to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 5+ years in mobile-first or fintech applications.
• Expertise in React Native + Expo and modern TypeScript for both frontend and backend.
• Deep understanding of serverless architectures and AWS cloud services.
• Experience in secure identity management and financial-grade data security practices.
• Familiarity with blockchain integrations, stablecoin payment mechanisms, or payment APIs.
• Proficient with real-time networking technologies such as WebSockets and SSE.
• Experience using AI-enhanced developer tools in daily workflows.
