About the Role
Miro is the online workspace for innovation used by over 100M people. As a Machine Learning Research Manager, you will lead a team defining the brain behind the Intelligent Canvas. This role operates at the intersection of Vision, Language, and Graph Theory, utilizing unique spatial, unstructured, and collaborative datasets.
What You'll Do
- Build and lead a world-class applied research team.
- Define the research roadmap to support the Intelligent Canvas.
- Pioneer research on unique spatial and multimodal datasets.
- Drive research-to-product velocity using foundation models.
- Architect organizational processes for model governance and ethical AI practices.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years managing high-performing ML teams in tech or research labs.
- Deep understanding of Transformers, Diffusion Models, and GNNs.
- A product-first mindset with practical production focus.
- Keen curiosity to model complex human collaboration and spatial behaviors.
- Strong communication skills to align research with business strategy.
Education + Experience
Option A: PhD with 2+ years in people management or Option B: Master’s degree with 5+ years in ML including 2+ years managing teams.
