The Opportunity

The Business Systems team is crucial in maximizing the firm's investment in Elite 3E (ERP) and other finance-specific systems, including Intapp Time, along with their integrations. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our specialized team. This role is instrumental in the effective delivery of high-quality projects and work packages for firm-wide operational and improvement initiatives.

The Senior Business Analyst will apply deep knowledge of complex transactional systems, particularly finance-related ones, to manage business requirements, analysis, and design outputs. You will work closely with the Business Analysis Manager and team managers across Operations, Support and Training, Data & Reporting, and Testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or actively participate in requirements elicitation workshops and stakeholder forums.
• Complete comprehensive requirements analysis, encompassing data, security, and stakeholder impact.
• Produce high-quality documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, gap analyses, and process flow diagrams.
• Conduct thorough walkthroughs of Business Analysis documentation before handover to development teams.
• Assist with critical deployment tasks for product releases and minor system upgrades.
• Liaise effectively with developers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and project team members on various work items and deliverables.
• Support test planning and review test cases to ensure adequate coverage and quality.
• Provide expert subject matter knowledge in diverse Practice Management system areas.
• Maintain issues registers, defect logs, run sheets, and other essential project artifacts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Business Analysis processes, focusing on agility, responsiveness, and high-quality outcomes.
• Execute other Business Analyst tasks as directed by the Business Analysis Team Manager or Head of Business Systems.

Essential Requirements

Experience & Knowledge:

• Sound understanding and significant experience with Finance/ERP and Time management systems, ideally including integrations and system dependencies, with Elite 3E experience being advantageous.
• Extensive experience in analyzing requirements and developing specifications, with a strong focus on creating robust and scalable solutions.
• At least 5 years of experience within a complex corporate or professional services environment.
• Intermediate-advanced SQL knowledge and a solid understanding of APIs/integrations.
• Strong grasp of ITIL principles, project delivery methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
• Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) implementation or strong knowledge of AML compliance processes within Finance systems.
• Professional services or legal firm experience is highly advantageous.
