Position Overview
The Video Operations Manager will facilitate the onboarding and deployment of new video content on our SVOD platform. This role involves collaborating with content, business affairs, marketing, and product teams, ensuring quality control and proper organization of deliverables. You will manage the video management system (VMS), coordinate release schedules, and serve as the primary liaison between departments.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of new video content with third-party providers and internal teams.
- Ensure technical and content quality control, proper archiving, and backup processes.
- Coordinate asset preparation including video, image, and metadata across teams.
- Upload and schedule video deployment via the VMS, with appropriate file nomenclature and access control.
- Create program briefs and manage the show promotion calendar within the streaming platform.
- Work with the product team to drive VMS improvements and automation.
- Support interdepartmental asset requests and respond promptly to content queries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Passion for serving the Christian audience and children a0media.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with streaming media, video formats, and video-editing tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Adobe Media Encoder.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, GSuite, Asana, Slack, Vimeo, Frame.io, and Airtable.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
- Bonus: Experience working with product teams using agile methodologies.
