About the Role
The Ministry for the Environment is offering fixed term or secondment opportunities until 30 June 2026 for experienced Project Coordinators. The roles are created in response to increased demand in high priority work programmes. You will join a Coordination team that collaborates with Programme and Project Managers to deliver professional coordination services, supporting Resource Management and National Direction processes.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Provide high value coordination services.
- Support day-to-day activities of Project Managers.
- Utilize project and collaboration tools such as MS Planner, Mural, and CRM.
- Ensure smooth programme delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Incorporate te ao Māori into your work when needed.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate demonstrates experience in project coordination, is working towards or holds a CaPM or similar qualification, and has strong technical skills in collaboration software. Exceptional visual presentation skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines are required. Cultural capability or willingness to incorporate te ao Māori is also essential.
Salary & Benefits
Salary ranges from $70,217 to $84,892 per annum, based on skills and experience. Benefits include a flexible working approach, agile ways of working, diverse employee networks, and opportunities for development and education.
