What you will do
There's more to being a sourcer at the Judicial Institutions Agency (DJI) than meets the eye. With your knowledge of sourcing and sales, you know how to get candidates excited about our meaningful positions. In this role, you have a lot of freedom and are responsible for sourcing for our prisons. The Sourcing Team is under construction, and you will contribute to its further professionalization. A great moment to join, contribute, and help shape this!
In this role, you will be responsible for guiding applicants for our executive positions, such as complex security officers, penal institution workers (PIW), and work supervisors. You will guide candidates throughout the entire recruitment process, ensuring an optimal candidate experience. You play an important role in improving candidate satisfaction and the candidate journey within the regions you support. You will continuously work on shortening the lead time of the recruitment process without compromising on quality.
Additionally, you will actively follow up on leads, for example, from recruitment events and campaigns. You will regularly attend recruitment events and selection days, where you will inform and enthuse potential candidates, guiding them toward the next step.
Within the Sourcing Team, you will act as a 'flying keeper'. This means you will be deployed flexibly in locations where the recruitment need is high and extra support is required. You will support fellow sourcers and quickly build temporary collaborations with various locations. This demands independence, flexibility, and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments. The role offers a nice mix of online sourcing, lead follow-up, and candidate guidance. Your important task is to actively seek out the best candidates for crucial positions within DJI. In a tight labor market, you will find, reach, and persuade suitable candidates.
Our transition to data-driven sourcing is well underway, and you, along with your colleagues, will play an important role in this transformation. You will work hybrid and at various locations in the Netherlands, depending on where meetings are or where the need arises. On average, you will spend half of your workweek at one of the locations you are responsible for at that time, and the other half working from home. Every Monday, the sourcing team works from the office in The Hague.
What you will do:
- Actively follow up on candidates from recruitment actions and ensure an optimal candidate experience;
- Represent DJI at recruitment evenings in the PI and regularly attend external events to expand the network;
- Source candidates through various channels (Indeed, LinkedIn, networking) to find the right talents;
- Conduct phone conversations with candidates, enthusiastically engaging them about working at DJI. Do this with boldness, pleasure, and conviction, in a critically investigative manner;
- Build and maintain talent pools for quick responses to future vacancies;
- Coordinate with (senior) recruiters, recruitment marketers, support, and hiring managers to ensure the recruitment process is as efficient as possible.
What you will get
- Scale 10 €3,404 - €5,389 (gross)
- Fixed-term employment contract until the end of 2027
- 32 - 36 hours
- The salary is based on a 36-hour workweek.
What we offer additionally
- An Individual Choice Budget (IKB). With the IKB, you make choices that suit you and arrange part of your employment conditions yourself. For example, it can consist of money (16.5% of your gross annual salary) or vacation days.
- Full reimbursement of your public transport commuting costs.
- A pension scheme.
- Partially paid parental leave.
- Study opportunities for personal growth and career development.
- The opportunity to use corporate fitness.
