About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Accounting Consultant with deep institutional knowledge of MinIO to support the transition of this knowledge to other team members. This role is part-time, offering hourly billing for up to 20 hours per week. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our accounting knowledge is effectively transferred and maintained.
What You Will Do
- Training & Knowledge Transfer: Train new and existing team members on accounting processes and systems, including revenue recognition, GL accounting, and consolidations.
- Provide hands-on guidance across core accounting functions.
- Offer guidance on existing system architecture.
- Answer questions that arise during audits and provide historical context on accounting decisions and processes.
- Assist with locating and identifying supporting documentation.
Your Skills And Experience
- Deep knowledge of MinIO’s historical accounting processes and documentation.
- Experience working with Sage Intacct.
- Ability to clearly explain historical context and train others effectively.
- Comfortable working independently in a flexible, on-demand capacity.
