Job Description

DevOps - Azure at MindInventory

MindInventory is looking for a skilled DevOps - Azure with over 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud and automation. This role is critical for managing high-availability enterprise systems, ensuring robust, secure, and automated infrastructure deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage comprehensive Azure infrastructure, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Storage solutions.
  • Deploy and maintain AKS workloads for essential services such as NiFi, PostGIS, and various microservices.
  • Architect secure network topologies, implementing VNet peering, VPNs, Private Endpoints, DNS configurations, and Zero Trust policies.
  • Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, and Prometheus to ensure system health and performance.
  • Ensure high uptime, develop disaster recovery plans, and implement effective backup and failover strategies.
  • Automate deployments and infrastructure provisioning using Azure DevOps, Helm, ArgoCD, and GitOps principles.
  • Enforce stringent security, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), compliance, and audit standards across all environments.

Technical Expertise Required:

  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Azure cloud and automation.
  • Proven experience managing high-availability enterprise systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services: AKS, VNets, App Gateway, Load Balancers.
  • Strong command of Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker.
  • Expertise in Networking: VPN, DNS, routing, firewalls, NSGs.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Terraform / Bicep (optional but a plus).
  • Familiarity with Monitoring tools: Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience: Azure DevOps, GitLab/Jenkins (added advantage).
  • Knowledge of Security best practices: Key Vault, certificates, encryption, RBAC.
  • Understanding of PostgreSQL/PostGIS networking.
  • Good to have knowledge/experience in Linux administration (Ubuntu/Debian).
