About the Role

At Mindera, the Software Implementation Engineer is responsible for building, configuring, and supporting clients' in-store devices. You will manage device lifecycles, automate deployments and updates using MECM and scripts, and ensure devices are secure, compliant, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and construct automated build processes using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (MECM).
  • Create unattended installations of various software products with scripted and MSI delivery mechanisms.
  • Develop tools ranging from batch files to full-scale Windows applications.
  • Collaborate with support teams to triage and escalate technical issues.
  • Act as a technical bridge between project teams and external suppliers.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of retail platforms including manned tills, self-checkouts, and store infrastructure.
