About the Role
We are looking for a high energy sales professional to provide positive impressions to potential residents by matching their needs with the ideal apartment at Mills Properties. Cultivate the resident experience by building lasting relationships, anticipating their needs, and exceeding expectations with exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the leasing process from introduction to move-in, including greeting guests, touring the property, showing apartments, explaining lease criteria, determining eligibility, following-up with prospects, closing sales, completing lease documents, and inspecting units.
- Manage the renewal process with ongoing communication and timely processing.
- Utilize creative marketing and social media strategies to drive qualified property traffic and improve closing ratios.
- Inspect units for market readiness and resolve issues with appropriate parties.
- Prepare accurate lease documents, resident files, approval applications, security deposits, rent payments, and other bookkeeping tasks.
- Assist with resident functions, service requests, package collection, and maintaining property cleanliness.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Mills Properties, other properties, and local competitors, while upholding Mills values and policies.
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum two years’ experience in sales and/or customer service; NALP certification preferred.
- Strong negotiating, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Adept at building relationships and working collaboratively in a team environment.
