LMS Admin & Learning Specialist

Milliman, Global Corporate Services (GCS) Learning and Development Team

Position Summary

This role provides administration for our Learning Management System (LMS) and coordination of our training programs. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless learning operations and contribute to the ongoing development of our workforce.

Responsibilities

LMS Administration:
  • Manage day-to-day LMS operations, including configuration, data flow, curricula, catalogs, assignments, troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the LMS vendor (Absorb) for product releases, system enhancements, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage other technologies like SharePoint, Teams, Zoom, and virtual learning platforms, as well as course development software (Canva, Articulate360). Manage access and permissions.
  • Establish and maintain governance protocols for LMS management and use by power users/admins.
  • Swiftly manage system challenges or unexpected issues with internal clients.
  • Consult with practices for learning or compliance learning paths.
  • Provide technical support and training for LMS users and administrators.
  • Provide technical support for LinkedIn Learning integration and other purchased content.
Program Coordination:
  • In partnership with the L&D team, maintain the annual learning calendar.
  • Lead scheduling, administering, and tracking of learning sessions, courses, and programs.
  • Coordinate with L&D, Events, and Internal Communications for core learning programs and L&D portions of company forums.
  • Monitor attendance/completion, feedback, and contribute to evaluating learning effectiveness.
General L&D Support:
  • Maintain all SOPs and instructions related to the LMS.
  • Manage the L&D inbox, serving as the primary responder during US operating hours.

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of LMS management experience (Absorb or similar platform) in a complex corporate structure.
  • Minimum of 3 years of training coordination experience, managing multiple programs.
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office 365.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with end-users and stakeholders with patience, professionalism, and curiosity.
  • Detail-oriented with superior organization and communication skills.
  • Excellent planning and documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong process orientation, with the ability to recommend and implement process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications Preferred

  • Knowledge of SCORM and API integrations.
  • Proficiency with PowerBI or other data analysis tools.
  • Experience creating training dashboards and tracking metrics.
  • Experience developing learning materials using standard L&D software.

LOCATION

This is a remote role.

Compensation

The overall salary range for this role is $54,900 - $97,865. For candidates residing in specific high-cost areas, the range is $63,135 - $97,865. For all other locations, the range is $54,900 - $85,100.
